LAURA MARSH has worked in children’s book publishing for over 20 years as an editor, author, and book packager. She has written more than 30 non-fiction books in the National Geographic Readers series, including Pyramids, an Amazon #1 bestseller in Children’s Middle Eastern History. For three straight years, the Maine Education Association has chosen one of Laura’s books to be given to every first grader in the state. Her book, Tigers, is featured in Lucy Calkins’ Units of Study, a reading and writing program used widely throughout the U.S. and in English-speaking schools internationally.

Discovering new things with every book is Laura’s favorite part about her work. She lives in Westchester County, NY with her husband, two sons, and their dog, Bode.
